Sales Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Executive (Lead Generation) to join
our team, a leader in security systems aggregation solutions. In this role, you will be
responsible for actively seeking out new business opportunities by identifying,
prospecting, and engaging potential clients. Your primary focus will be generating
high-quality leads and then passing these leads over to our Pre-Sales Representative
team for further qualification and closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation & Prospecting:
o Actively prospect and identify potential customers by researching and
targeting leads in various industries that could benefit from integrated
security systems.
o Utilize a variety of outreach methods, including cold calling, networking,
email campaigns, and attending industry events or conferences, to
generate new business opportunities.
o Build and maintain a pipeline of leads for potential clients interested in
security solutions.

• Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
o Engage with prospective clients to introduce the company’s security
systems aggregation services and assess their needs through initial
conversations.
o Qualify leads based on their security requirements, budget, and readiness
to move forward.
o Build a relationship with potential clients and develop long-term
relationships, fostering trust in the company’s solutions.

• Information Gathering & Handoff:
o Collect and document essential information about prospects, including
security needs, pain points, and any specific system requirements.
o Clearly communicate prospects’ details, needs, and business objectives to
the Pre-Sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff for further engagement.
o Ensure that prospects are fully prepared for the next phase of the sales
process by providing the Pre-Sales team with all necessary background
information.

• Collaboration with Pre-Sales Representatives:
o Work closely with the Pre-Sales team to ensure that leads are properly
transitioned, and that no opportunity is lost during the handoff.
o Ensure that all relevant information and context about each prospect is
shared efficiently, allowing the Pre-Sales team to tailor their presentations
and proposals effectively.

• Maintain CRM Records:
o Keep accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospective interactions,
and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
o Provide regular updates on the status of leads and share feedback on
prospect behavior to help improve the overall lead qualification process.

• Performance Metrics & Reporting:
o Meet or exceed lead generation targets, including the number of qualified
leads delivered to the Pre-Sales team.
o Regularly report on lead generation progress and pipeline activity to
management.

• Market & Product Knowledge:
o Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and
competitor offerings to better position our security systems solutions.
o Continuously develop your understanding of the company’s products and
services to effectively communicate the benefits and solutions to potential
clients.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
o Proven experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in the
technology, security, or systems integration industry.
o Experience with business development, cold calling, and lead generation
processes is highly preferred.

• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
engage potential clients in meaningful conversations and build
relationships.
o Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and influencing them to take
the next step in the sales process.

• Self-Starter & Highly Motivated:
o Ability to work independently, with a self-motivated mindset and a
strong drive to achieve targets.
o Capable of working under pressure and meeting sales goals in a fast
paced environment.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, Marketing, Information Technology,
or a related field is preferred, though equivalent work experience is also
acceptable.

Relevant Expertise
• 3 – 5 years in security systems or related tech fields (networking, smart
buildings).
• Prior experience working with system integrators, manufacturers, or
distributors in the security industry.
