The school is recruiting for the following teaching positions:
- Teacher of Biology and Agriculture
- Teacher of Chemistry and Biology
- Female Teacher of Physical Education (P.E.) and Sports
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education with the relevant teaching subjects.
- Valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration.
- At least four years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching under the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum, including candidate classes.
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning, delivery, and learner assessment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Light International School Mombasa (Cambridge Curriculum)
Position Available
- Mathematics and Science Teacher (Upper Primary – Years 4 to 6)
Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education in the relevant subject.
- Valid TSC registration.
- A minimum of four years’ teaching experience.
- Experience delivering the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
- Strong curriculum planning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Light International School Malindi (Cambridge Curriculum)
Teaching Vacancies
- History Teacher
- Female Teacher of Physical Education (P.E.) and Sports
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (History) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Sports Management for the P.E. role.
- Valid TSC registration.
- At least four years of relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching within the Cambridge Secondary curriculum (IGCSE and A-Level for History).
- Ability to organize and coach sporting activities for the P.E. position.
- Excellent curriculum development, assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
