JOB OPPORTUNITY: LODGE CHEF IN SAMBURU
Are you passionate about culinary excellence and ready for an adventure in the wild?
We are looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic chef for an exclusive luxurious lodge, nestled in the heart of Kenya’s breathtaking wilderness in Samburu.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and prepare high-quality meals (local and international cuisine) for guests and staff.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety at all times.

Oversee food inventory and manage supplies efficiently in a remote setting.

Cater to special dietary requirements and guest preferences.

Ensure cost-effective menu planning and portion control.
REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as a Chef in a four-star hotel, lodge, or safari camp.

Formal culinary training or relevant hospitality certification.

Strong plating and food presentation skills.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

Ability to work and live in a remote bush/park environment.

Team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
Location: Samburu National Reserve
Contract Type: Full-time, live-in position
