Job Summary for this Video Editor Job in Kenya:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor to join our team
in the betting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and
producing high-quality video content that enhances our brand, promotes our products, and
engages our audience across multiple platforms. You will play a key role in content creation
for marketing campaigns, social media, in-app promotions, tutorials, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Videography:

1. Plan, shoot, and produce videos including promotional ads, player testimonials,
tutorials, influencer content, and event coverage.
2. Operate and maintain cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other technical
gear.
3. Scout locations, set up shoots, and manage logistics for video productions.
4. Work closely with the marketing and social media team to create storyboards and video
concepts.

Editing:
1. Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand guidelines.
2. Add graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound effects as required.
3. Optimize video content for various channels including social media, websites, and mobile
platforms.
4. Ensure content meets legal and ethical standards specific to the betting industry.
5. Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and campaign managers to align video
content with broader marketing strategies.
6. Stay up to date with video trends, editing styles, and best practices in the gaming and
betting industry.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Ø Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Ø 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, preferably in a betting, gaming, or
sports-related company.
Ø Proven experience as a videographer and editor (portfolio required).
Ø Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After
Effects).
Ø Strong understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Ø Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills.
Ø Experience in sports, gaming, or betting content is an added advantage.
Ø Basic understanding of SEO and video optimization.
