CASHIER VACANCY- IMMEDIATE HIRING
A well-established textile/mitumba (second-hand clothing) business is looking for a reliable, honest and customer-focused Cashier to join their team.
Location: Mombasa Road
Salary: KES 25,000 – 35,000 per month
CASHIER VACANCY- KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive and accurately process cash, M-Pesa and other payments
* Operate POS/cash register and issue receipts
* Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily sales
* Maintain accurate sales and payment records
* Handle cash securely and report discrepancies
* Provide excellent customer service
* Assist with pricing and transaction verification
* Support stock and sales operations when required
* Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area
CASHIER VACANCY- QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Business or related field is an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cashier, preferably in retail, textile, fashion or a busy commercial environment
- Experience with POS systems, M-Pesa and cash handling
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Honest, trustworthy and accountable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Available to start immediately
