Content Creator Job in Kenya (& Booking Coordinator)-Full details
Our client is a boutique furnished-apartment brand based in Nairobi, offering thoughtfully designed apartments for local and international guests.
We are looking for a creative, organized and commercially minded Content & Booking Coordinator to help us showcase the experience online while supporting the day-to-day management of our booking platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating beautiful content but also understands that great content should ultimately generate enquiries and bookings.
Key Responsibilities
● Content Creation & Social Media
● Create engaging photos, Reels, short videos, Stories and other content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
● Visit properties regularly to capture fresh content.
● Edit short-form videos using tools such as CapCut and Create simple branded graphics using Canva.
● Maintain and execute the monthly social-media content calendar.
● Write engaging captions and calls to action.
● Schedule and publish approved content.
● Identify relevant social-media trends and propose ways the client can use them.
● Create a balanced mix of property, lifestyle, destination, guest-experience and conversion-focused content.
● Monitor content performance and recommend improvements. Booking Platform Management
● Support management of the client’s online booking platform listings.
● Ensure listing photographs, descriptions, amenities and other information remain accurate and up to date.
● Monitor enquiries and booking-platform communications.
● Respond to guests using approved communication guidelines and templates.
● Follow up enquiries that have not converted.
● Monitor upcoming availability and highlight occupancy gaps.
● Upload new photographs and approved listing improvements.
● Monitor guest reviews and prepare responses.
● Escalate pricing, refund, cancellation or guest-service issues requiring management approval. Lead & Booking Support
● Track enquiries originating from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, Airbnb and Booking.com.
● Maintain an accurate enquiry and conversion tracker.
● Follow up prospective guests professionally.
● Identify common reasons why enquiries do not convert into bookings.
● Prepare a simple weekly update showing enquiries, conversions, upcoming availability and areas requiring attention.
Content Creator Job in Kenya (& Booking Coordinator)-Skills and Qualifications
● Strong smartphone photography and videography skills.
● Ability to create engaging Instagram and TikTok Reels.
● Working knowledge of Canva and CapCut or similar tools.
● Excellent written and spoken English.
● Strong attention to detail and organization.
● Comfortable communicating professionally with guests.
● Familiarity with Airbnb or Booking.com is an advantage.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
● Based in Nairobi, preferably with convenient access to Karen.
