Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
– Establish a robust, externally funded research program in your area of expertise.
– Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
– Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
– Participate in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities.
– Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation.
Qualifications and Experience:

A Doctorate (PhD) in a relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.

A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience at the Assistant Professor level, or alternatively, eight (8) years of research experience as an Assistant Research Professor or in a comparable role.

At least forty (40) publications while serving as an Assistant Professor or equivalent, with a minimum of thirty (30) of these appearing in peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

Proven experience in academic supervision, including guiding at least five (5) PhD candidates to successful completion, as well as five (5) Master’s degree students.

Preference will be given to candidates who can provide evidence of registered patents and innovations that have been commercialized in their research field.

Membership in a relevant professional body, where applicable.

Demonstrated proficiency in current information and communication technologies.

Fulfillment of the requirements outlined in Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
