Key Responsibilities
As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate travel quotations for clients.
- Managing travel amendments, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Processing airline ticketing and reservations using the Galileo/Travelport GDS platform.
- Ensuring all travel documentation, including visas, permits, insurance, and contracts, is complete and accurate.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour guides, and other travel partners.
- Keeping booking records updated within the organization’s reporting systems.
- Working closely with different departments to deliver efficient and seamless travel arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- A Diploma in Tourism Management, Tours and Travel, or an equivalent qualification.
- Two to three years of practical experience using Galileo/Travelport GDS for ticketing and reservations.
- A customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
