Frolics of Hope Africa Internship Programme 2026/2027
Frolics of Hope Africa (FOHA) is inviting passionate and motivated graduates to apply for its six-month internship program. The organization focuses on empowering women, protecting children, preventing gender-based violence and human trafficking, promoting mental health, and strengthening communities through sustainable development initiatives.
Successful interns will gain practical experience while working alongside experienced professionals on impactful community program.
Internship Duration
- Program Period: September 2026 – March 2027
- Internship Length: 6 Months
- Expected Internship Dates: 31 August 2026 – 31 March 2027
Available Internship Positions
1. Community Development Intern (1 Position)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in community engagement, child protection, gender equality, and social justice.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel and work within communities across Nakuru County.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
2. Communications & Media Intern (1 Position)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, photography, videography, and social media management skills.
- Experience using graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an added advantage.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
3. Statistics, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Intern (1 Position)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Science, Economics, or another relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or similar analytical tools.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and data management skills.
- Interest in program monitoring, research, data visualization, and impact assessment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
