About the Opportunity
Jaysur Cognitive Management Limited is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of a growing retailer dealing in leading international Food & Beverage and Cosmetics brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving supply chain activities while ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, cost control and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the complete supply chain process, covering procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
Manage import activities and maintain effective relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers and freight partners.
Monitor inventory levels and market demand to maintain adequate stock while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
Negotiate supplier prices, discounts and favourable commercial agreements.
Identify ways to improve operational efficiency and lower supply chain expenses.
Monitor supply chain performance indicators and prepare relevant reports.
Introduce continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.
Supervise and develop the supply chain team to meet organizational and operational targets.
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Operations teams to support overall business performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
A professional qualification such as CIPS, CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or an equivalent certification is required.
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the retail sector.
Experience working with international Food & Beverage and/or Cosmetics brands.
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, forecasting, demand planning, imports, warehousing and logistics.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage costs and achieve commercial savings.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
A strong track record of managing procurement, inventory, imports, logistics and supplier relationships.
