Embassy Of Guatemala Jobs– General Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience depending on the position.
• Experience in diplomatic, public sector or international environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili; working knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
• Professional ethics, integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and under pressure.
• Professional presentation and willingness to learn.
Administrative Positions — 3 openings
1) Executive Administrative Assistant: Manage the Ambassador’s agenda, official
correspondence, meetings, travel arrangements, reports and protocol activities.
2) Administrative Finance and Consular Assistant: Support budgeting, financial
reporting, inventory control, tax reimbursement processes and consular records.
3) Administrative Analyst Assistant: support bilateral initiatives, maintain institutional
databases, and assist in the preparation of technical briefings, official reports, and
other analytical documents, while providing administrative and operational support
to the Mission as required.
Driver — 1 opening
• Provide safe and reliable transportation for the Ambassador, diplomatic staff, and
official visitors.
• Possess a valid driving license and an excellent driving record, with thorough
knowledge of local traffic regulations and road safety standards.
• Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, including fuel control, cleanliness, routine
inspections, and logbook management.
• Coordinate transportation schedules, routes, and logistical arrangements for official
activities.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion while
carrying out official duties.
• Support Embassy logistics, deliveries, and other operational requirements as
assigned.
• Assist in the transport of documents, supplies, and materials necessary for the
effective functioning of the Mission.
Embassy Office Cleaning Staff — 1 opening
• Cleaning and maintenance of office facilities and common areas.
• Preparation of refreshments for visitors and meetings.
• Support logistics and report maintenance needs.

Housekeeper — 1 opening : Residence Guatemala Embassy
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper upkeep of the Ambassador’s Residence
and designated areas.
• Prepare and serve meals, refreshments, and beverages as required,
demonstrating basic cooking and food preparation skills.
• Support hospitality services, official receptions, and residence events, ensuring a
welcoming and professional environment.
• Assist with the management of household supplies and inventories, maintaining
appropriate standards of hygiene and organization.
• Provide general domestic and logistical support as required for the efficient
operation of the Residence.
Caretaker / Maintenance Staff — 1 opening
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of office and residence facilities.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, plumbing, generator, and security systems to
ensure proper functionality.
• Coordinate repairs, manage inventories of tools and supplies, and provide general
technical support.
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly report maintenance needs, risks, or
infrastructure issues.
• Possess a valid driving license and demonstrate safe driving skills to support official
transportation, deliveries, and logistical requirements when needed.
• Assist with the transport of equipment, supplies, documents, and other materials
required for the operation of the Mission.
• Support logistical and operational activities to ensure the efficient functioning of
the Embassy and Residence.
Gardener — 1 opening
• Maintain the gardens, lawns, and green areas of the Embassy and the
Ambassador’s Residence in good condition throughout the year.
• Carry out planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing according to
seasonal needs.
• Operate and care for garden tools and equipment, including mowers and irrigation
systems, reporting faults promptly.
• Keep outdoor areas clean and presentable, particularly ahead of official receptions
and residence events.
• Support the preparation and setting up of outdoor spaces for official activities.
• Monitor the condition of trees, fences, drainage, and outdoor lighting, and report
any risks or damage to the Caretaker / Maintenance Staff.
• Work with discretion and professionalism at all times, respecting the
confidentiality of the Embassy and Residence.
