Laikipia North Technical Training Institute has its major intakes in January, May, and September each year in all its courses.

Potential applicants who have sat for KCSE in the past and managed to score grade D-,D, D+, and C- and even above can apply for admission to the college.

There are several ways of applying:

1. Through KUCCPS: Wait for the portal to open, choose a course, and select your institution of study as Laikipia North Technical Training Institute.
2. Visiting the college directly: You can just visit the college and make your application directly.

The Government contributes Kshs. 30,000 per student while HELB will finance at least Ksh. 40,000 for every student where approximately Ksh. 26,000 goes to fees while about Kshs. 14,000 is usually wired into your account as pocket money.

Student board at privately run hostels facilities. Most of them are quite affordable while you can buy foodstuffs from the shops and market center.
